Sure. Go to Behringers web site and download the application that controlls the DCX 2496 - Play with it an convince yourself that it is suitable for the job.

It might be better to find out if someone has actually got the DCX2496 to work in this exact application before spending any money.

it's been done, not specifically with the behringer, but done with pro music crossovers. See here for a linkwitz "clone" :

Linkwitz is not right on this one. Download the control program as per above an set it up as described in the link above. If your are not able to do it it is because of human error not Behringer.

The control program for the Behringer DCX2496 gives quick and easy access to quite a range of parameters.
Settings can be saved as presets, and switched between on the fly for easy A/B comparisons.
Crossover types and slopes can be easily selected and this gives instant real time comparison.
There are better sounding crossovers than the Behringer and with similar features, but the Behringer works fine, especially for the price.

Sorry, but it is touch and go. The extra boost required because of the very low Q of the Peerless woofers comes close to maxing out the processing power of the Behringer.

This is if you do an exact duplicate of the Orion Xover which requires the boost to be maintained down to 10Hz or so.

What if I add a Linkwitz tranform to the woofers. Will this be enough so that the DCX 2496 can further process it. TIA
