Default Minidsp 2x4 not recognized/can't connect

I have solved my problem with the 2x4 minidsp.
I could not connect/synkronice on 2 of my board,s.
Many times it succeded fidling with the minidsp usb connection on the board.
I have ordered new female miniusb connectors, but discovered that it is the coil L3 that is causing the problem.
I removed it ,a 4 leads SMD thing ,placed very close to the miniusb connector.
Bypassed it ,and it Works fine.

This board is an older version ,but the problem was the same on a newer one with 5 pins to external USB connector.
Pleace report if you coudd use this .

Have you tried to bypass the "coils"?

I tried to bypass but no improvement, Actually, my computer see the device on USB level but connecting straight to a USB input gives the trying 1, 2, 3 fail. Using a USB 2 hub gives timeout directly with a disappearing "Resync" button. But it seems the USB configuration goes better with the hub as now the Vendore etc is discovered. In both cases the USB device was seen by the comp. Adobe Air of latest fashion.

I will now remove L3...

Yeah, I think so. If the series coil was open/failed the board would not power up at all.

I don't think this board is USB powered....

There is a 12 v feed also... for sure it works without a connected USB cable.
