I understand the Duet uses the ESS Sabre32 DAC. What characteristic allows this chip to be more accurate in the representation of the audio signal? Is there an onboard DSP? How well regarded is this delta-sigma DAC?
Also, does the Duet impart an analog type of sound to the music? Or does this happen only when the Soft Limiter is used? I really do not know what the "analog" style of sound actually sounds like, so that is why I am asking.
