I bought an assembled ES9023 + LM4766 DAC AMP kit from eBay, but when connecting a power supply and testing the unit some problems arose: we immediately detected high temperatures near the diodes and we measured wrong currents (i.e. there was a current leakage).
We first thought that one or more diodes had been connected in the wrong direction, but this seems to be OK.
Does anyone know, what could be wrong with this kit. There was a thread about this kit in which I asked the same question, but I did not get any answers (and the eBay seller won't reply to my questions either).
Does anyone know more about this unit (or have a wiring diagram)? Which things we should check first in order to repair this unit?
