I've been working on a personal prototype for a wireless-system for guitar and have been through many issues where most of them were focused on the throughput of the wireless data. In the end, I've settled on a 16-bit data transfer with a Nordic nRF24L01+ because I believe this will bring the best balance between audio-quality, latency and throughput (in a 10Hz-20kHz / 50m range).
Now on another forum I saw this Sony product I wasn't yet aware of:

According to the specifications, the unit is able to achieve a throughput capable of transferring 24-bit linear PCM in a range of 10Hz-22kHz for up to 60m. So spec-wise, the unit is a lot better than the prototype I was making. Does anyone perhaps know which chips/technology Sony is using to achieve this throughput? I'm honestly kind of baffled considering I've been looking for something capable of this for quite a while but haven't found it.
