Default New Hifimediy ES9023 DAC with I2S board

I just came across this "new" DAC of Hifimediy:
Hifimediy ES9023 DAC, I2S and left justified input, 192Khz/24bit

It is a DAC with I2S input: any opinion on this. I'd like to use it with a RPi. Is it just as simple as adding an I2S connection to the RPi, connect it to this DAC (incl. 5V DC from the IO-port) and then connect this DAC to my poweramp? Or am I overlooking something.

I did. It is working with Volumio 1.2beta(Volumio 1.1beta didn't work).

I also used 48 mhz oscillator as internal clock. I can play 24/192 files.

For the best sound quality you should use a dedicated linear regulated power supply and a very accurate internal clock (in asynchronous mode).

Just asked because I am in two minds whether to go towards this one or subbu which I have bare PCBs waiting to order parts, the parts for subbu cost more than this already built.

Thanks for your response. Which oscillator did you use?
