Hi all,
I'd like to delve into the world of DIY equipment and could use a lot of help with where to begin. I'm looking to build a DAC with a USB input and 2 pairs of simultaneously active outputs (1 pair of balanced XLR and 1 pair of RCA ideally or 2 pairs of RCA if that's substantially cheaper). I'm looking to spend around $150 for everything besides the housing (gotta make use of my campus CNCs before I graduate!). I'm comfortable with putting everything together myself however I prefer pre-assembled or partially assembled kits for ease and peace of mind if they still maintain a high performance per dollar ratio.
Thanks!
