I see..
But in voltage mode (without any active buffer) do you think ES9018 can drive a 600R primary?

I can't find it searching for combo384.

Btw, I've used version 1.09 and I think it's using firmware 1073c. Don't know how to see which version of the firmware is currently running, any tips here ?
Check here:

USB to I2S 384Khz - DSD Converter

If you have an early Combo board I suggest you update both CPU and CPLD using V. 1.10a of update tools.
Firmware v 1073c is supposed to be in beta state, 1072 can give problems with some DACs and I2C commands, 1069 is stable.

Hi,
Is the firmware 1069 deployed via the "combo384_drivers_win7_win8_1056.zip" ? Since this is the pnly version available for download from the amanero site.

@glt , did you have any chance of comparison (sound wise) between the amanero and the CM6631 (that I saw you just purchased) using the same DAC and audio chain ?

As Glt says you need to use OEMTool NOT the drivers. Follow the link in my previous post, everything you need to know to flash the firmware is there.
