Is the trasformer a bit too close to the sabre?

Any recommended box to install it in easily? Then I'll pull the trigger :-). Can't go wrong at this price.

I made my ebay dac using Hammond chassis 1455 series and I liked it.

Just now listening to music by this DAC with the chain:
macbook pro, M2tech hiface, dac, yarland m84 tube amp, fostex fe103 in BR box.

To me it is a clear step forward when compared with my 707 Superpro DAC and also to a PCM1798 ebay kit I also have.

More slam, and a bit of added detail.

Hi,

I have to bypass the S/PDIF RCA input because I want to put this dac in a chassis I already have, but I cannot recognize where is the input signal and the input ground on the pcb.

I attached a picture: I assume A is the ground and B is signal.

Am I right?
