sorry for bad english...

Now i have active 3 way loudspeakers and useing behringer dcx2496 as crossover

So with this project I could replace it and have better sound ?

I could use it as ;

Source > DSP Xover (which have onboard,6chanell, DAC and volume control) > amplifiers > drivers
Good day Yoke and thanks for your interest.

I never had a dcx in my hands and I have no precise idea about the sound it can make.

What I can tell you is that the current project can suit your needs as you have explained these. It can also allow you to expand your system if you wish at some point to connect more than 1 source or add subwoofers to your system.

Also, what's specific to this project is that it is DIY-friendly by nature and it's being developed with the idea in mind that the user will want at some stage to add his own touch (custom chassis, lcd, buttons, power supply, opamps, caps, custom filters, analogue volume, I2S etc) and explore his own interests.

Ok, so I did some Ebay surfing. Besides these parts I would need the powersupplies (think I already got those) and a cabinet .
Could you provide a cad drawing of the connector side, .dxf or .dwg maybe ?

Mini Universal TV Spy Remote Control For TCL LG NEC JVC | eBay

8 push buttons [Accessory board matrix Keypad keyboard] | eBay

Microtips Technology LCD Display - 2 x 16 - MTC-S16204A - 2 Lines x 16 Character | eBay

Wrobot Digital 38KHz IR Receiver Sensor | eBay

The CAD drawing will follow. Right now I'm into programming and I want to finish first a few things so the drawing will come a bit later.

Any of these small remotes should be fine and I got myself one to give it a try. The other option is to get a universal remote and share it with your sources (CD etc).
This one is not ideal because of how the buttons are placed in 2 rows.
It's going to be clear when I detail what each button does.
1- On/Off
2- Mute/Unmute
3- Enter Menu/Quit Menu
4- Set option in Menu/Balance when menu off
5/6- Up and down in menu/Volume up and down when menu off
7/8- Left and right in menu/Bass and Treble when menu off

So i would place buttons 5/6/7/8 on a diamond shape, with button 3 or 4 in the center and the other nearby, then place the remaining buttons (On/Off and Mute).

Yup no problem with that one. Note that you have on ebay various prizes (1602 Character LCD Display Module Blue Blacklight New | eBay), various colors, various sizes... They differ a bit in the placement of pixels and in terms of speed, but it's hard to know before testing. Anyway they are all fine.

Yeah that's an option. In fact you just need the sensor itself. I've tried various models from Vishay and one from Rohm, they are all good and available from Digikey or Farnell. The requirement is 5V 38kHz.
They have 3 pins: 5V, GND and signal. Beware that the pinning changes from one model to the other - even within the same manufacturer's product line.

I forgot another nice thing about the cs3318:

It does not like to have the analog rails up without the digital supply, it will burn...... Also keep in mind that the reset line must be kept low during powering up. I solved this with a powersupply supervisor ic, the MAX6301.

Been there, burnt 3 of them

To store settings (i.e. presets) in the board's memory you use the control application.

To recall any stored preset, you use the remote controller or the menu.

Hope this makes sense!
