emu 0404 output gone......
 

Hi fellas,
I have a new (to me) usb emu 0404. Everything works fine except....
When I use the spdif I have no output!not at headphones, not at stereo(at the back), even though the ext led is constantly on....
Any ideas??:scratch:

All LEDs SPDIF are lit?
All levels are open at full volume?
Sync LED lits?
Have you checked coaxial cable?

So far, I can listen to flacs (96khz) but not to mp3s (44,1khz)...
Why?Does anybody know?

Wich media player are you using? is well configured for mp3?

I'm using asus play mini+.
I don't know if it needs special adjustments, I didn't see anything in the settings.
I'm feeding the emu from this media player which reads files from a NAS.
Trying to use the emu as a standalone dac.

You must see if mp3 plug-in is in the media player.

Is the error like "Unable to open sound device" or "Sample rate not supported by device"?

ok now it plays everything BUT, every time I change songs with different sample rate I have to make the according changes in the panel(connect pc) and reboot....
Is there a way to get around this?

Your media player have ASIO? if yes give it a try.
