Hi
I plan to make a pcm2707 based soundcard board to output sound to a amplifier I search for that in google but I only find schematics for I2S output or with the pcm2906 chip can anybody helpme getting the schematic or should I go to the pcm2906 aproach Thanks |

Hi! I'm new here but I plane to make an USB DAC too but for monitoring. In my mind the best way is to use PCM2707 outputing I²S and a DAC as PCM179x on the same board, because PCM179x are 24 bit whereas PCM2707 is only 16 bits. Another point you may take care is if you use PCM179x, you may use a current/voltage converter. It's not complex, but it takes more place on a pcb. So in my mind each case is good, so you just have to chose the one corresponding to your need. for the schematics, you should use the ones of the datasheet of each device
