Dac with CS8416 & CS4392
Hi all, it is possible to make a audio DAC with CS8416 & CS4392 ??

CS8416 - 192 kHz Digital Audio Receiver

CS4392 - 114 dB, 24-Bit, 192 kHz Stereo D/A Converter with DSD Support

Are they compatible? It require a mcu to work together?

Thanks in advance!

They can work without a microcontroller? In hardware mode? Can somebody help me with a scheme, please!

CS4398 has better specs (THD+N @ -107dB and SNR @ -120dB) and it is already avail:

CS8416 will operate in hardware mode - I have used it this way. I've not used the CS4392, but the datasheet seems to indicate that it too will operate in hardware mode.

So, a microcontroler should not be required.
