thanks for the link, but if i go ahead I think i'll do something at batch PCB, I would want some useful decoupling positions; using the pinheader locations isnt a lot of use IMO, as its simply too far away. interested to see how you go though.

Hi Serge,

How the project is going? I am interested in this project. First I thought to use AK4396 or AK4397, but saw your initial project and may be I will go with AK4399 too. It is better than the others so it is beter to start with it.

AK4399 has been removed from AKM website. Has anybody any informations about this?

AK4414 seems a successor , which have same THD+N and SNR but 4ch DAC.

Not pin compatible with the 4399 but seems very good.
