Modify HLLy DMK-IV to support 24bits/96 Khz
Hi,
I want to modify my hlly DMK-IV DAC so it can support 24 bits/96 Khz (now only noise is heard when I select that as output format). I read at headfi that it was possible to modify the DAC (see REVIEW: HLLY DMK-IV DAC / headphone amp / pre-amp)), and I am trying to find out if this is really possible. I was trying to find schematics (see http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/digit...ly-dmk-iv.html), but the links do not work anymore unfortunatly to the PDFs. Can anyone here confirm this mod? And does someone by any chance have these pdfs? |
I'm not in a position to advise on how to get 24/96 capability but if you are looking for the schematic Google DMK-IV-SCH.pdf and you should find an accessible file.

If it were that easy I would not have asked :) All links you would find are no longer valid/working.
However, when I found out that HLLy was using a new domain, I just used the old path and found the PDF! http://www.hllyhifi.com/images/AUDIO/DMK-IV-SCH.pdf Can someone confirm that the approach to disconnect 2 and connect to 3 would work? |
