Hello Everyone ...
I think I detected my TOSLink problem but the issue is very peculiar. Initially I told, TOTX147 is working fine on my PCB cause I can see with SW ON/OFF, TOTX147 also gets ON/OFF. But I am thinking the problem is in TOTX, not in TORX. Cause, - I removed TOTX from my Board PCB and connect a 3 PIN Header with the TOTX Position. - Then place the TOTX on Breadboard and connect 3 wire (VCC, VIN, GND) from Breadboard to my PCB 3 PIN Header (of TOTX Position). - Everything with TORX is working then. I don't know why the TOTX only working when I am connecting it on Breadboard and not working when I am connecting it on the same 3 PIN of my PCB. Something is happening, when I am connecting TOTX on Breadboard via wires which is making everything work ... The issue seems very strange ![]() Any suggestion .... Sakibnaz. |

Hello Everyone ... I got new TOSLink Parts (TOTX147PL and TORX147PL). My problem is mostly solved but one very abnormal situation I am facing.
- Initially TOTX and TORX not working on my PCB. So I removed TX and RX from PCB and solder 2 piece 3PIN Header on TX and RX Position so that I can test it from Breadboard with wire connection. - Now I am observing system is working, only when I am connecting TOTX through wire. If I directly connect TOTX on PCB (on the same point where I connected wires) then its not working. - Both TOTX and TORX is working when I am connecting TOTX with my PCB via Wires. When I am soldering the TOTX on my PCB. In summery: - TOTX LED gets ON/OFF by Switch press in both case. Either TOTX soldered directly or connected via wire. - But TORX only giving VOUT .... when TOTX connected via wire on PCB. If TOTX directly soldered then no VOUT from TORX. Any advice or comment please ... Regards. Sakibnaz. |
