Portable ADC-DAC for iPhone 4 (iPhone IV) from Fostex - AR-4i + HP-P1 (AR4i + HPP1)
are there practical experiences arround this new Fostex components?

what do you want to know? there is plenty of info over at head-fi.org at least on the HP-P1. the way it works is by basically slaving the iphone/ipod/ipad as a transport of the digital data. it doesnt output i2s so to speak. its limited in bandwidth somewhat, but gets good reviews. you cannot use it as a standalone dac though, it doesnt work as slave, has to be master and doesnt use standard protocol.
