Upgrade the clock for Sonic Frontiers SFD-2 MKIII
I have a project to upgrade my old DAC - Sonic Frontiers SFD-2 MKIII, and I had tried to upgrade the vcxo to ocxo and change the op-amp from BB OPA627 to 827, but fail with the clock upgrade.
Any suggestion of the clock upgrade with the latest vcxo which still available ? |

How did you find the opamp change went?
Try looking at some assemblage dac threads as they share some similarities. From memory the assemblage and sonic frontiers benefited from a separate power supply for the clock. |
