I am looking for a cheap USB to I2S source. I do not want to build anything, rather buy a commercial product. I heard the C-Media CM108 chip has I2S output, and actually bought an USB DAC with this chip, but the chip inside is covered with a blob of glue on the PCB, and there are no externally accessible pins
![]() Any advice what to look for? I don't want to spend a lot for a Teradak. |

There is a company in Switzerland that makes a FPGA based converter, not sure what the name was.
