TDA1543 or PCM2702?

Hi! Please help me choose a DAC. I stand before an important choice

- usb dac on tda1543(DDDAC1543 MK2, circuit description and Construction) or dac on pcm2702. Maybe someone was listening to these DACs, I do not know how they sound.

of those 2, definitely the dddac, the 2702 is a piece of unadulterated crap =) whether used as a usb receiver, or its rudimentary dac functions, its half-baked at best

I'd choose the TDA too; PCM2702 is too common, and being common kills the performance of an audio product. TDA1543 also has a niche market. Just don't look at measurements.

Depends - if you like the sound of hifi, the TI. OTOH, music plays very well through my two TDA1543 DACs, and they're a tweaker's delight. Nothing much can rescue the PCM as I reckon the damage is probably done within. Disclaimer - I've not to my memory heard one so I'm just going on the technical aspects.
