I have some old z-680 speakers laying around. I saw a add on Craigslist for a z-2300 subwoofer. It does not have the control pod, I want to use my old z-680 control pod. Both systems use a 15pin setup. The Z-680 control pod is digital http://images.viper007bond.com/compu...tech_z-680.jpg
and the z-2300 is just a basic volume and bass knob. I have some schismatics for a custom z-2300 control pod. http://blog.jseaber.com/wp-content/u...remoteV100.pdf This is the z-2300 setup Pin PCB Name Description 1 SLINE Subwoofer Line Input 2 (unused) 3 SGND Signal/Audio Ground 4 PGND Power Ground 5 STDBY Standby, Active Low 6 RL Right Line Input 7 (unused) 8 (unused) 9 (unused) 10 (unused) 11 RHP Right Headphone Output 12 LL Left Line Input 13 LHP Left Headphone Output 14 (unused) 15 VREG 15V Supply Railhttp://blog.jseaber.com/2010/02/27/logitech-z-2300-control-pod-disassembly/ This is what it says on the z-680 circuit board. I need to know witch one to match on the z-2300. I am going to cut the wire from the 15brong connector and rearange the wires so that they match the right hole. Do you think this will work? Consider this. The Z-680 pod is digital and only has one knob. Will I be able to turn down the base using this controller? 1. +8 J6 2. G 3. SB 4. G 5. RR (right 6. Rl (left 7. C (center 8.
