I am trying to make a simple, low parts count 2 channel DAC using Philip's UDA1352TS. I would like to have both a Coaxial and Toslink input. Only one used at a time, of course. Can anyone give me help on how to add in the toslink?
Any help is appreciated.

Since it has a SPDIF input you just need a MUX or switching of some kind. A cs8416 receiver chip in pass through mode would work but I don't know if I would call it a simple solution. You might get by with a SS switch from Maxim, about as simple as it gets.
