a newbie needs help
here's my current set-up 24 channel mixer nady equalizer crossover ( 2-way stereo, 3-way stereo, 4-way mono) 2 pairs 600 watts Mid/High speaker ( 8 ohms) 1 pair 1200 watts subwoofer (4 ohms) 1 power amp 600 watts (8 ohms) 1 power amp 1000 watts (8 ohms) questions: 1. im currently using 600 watts power amp to drive 2 pairs of speakers. now my load had become 4 ohms right? is it still safe? 2. if i buy another 600 watts amp could i split the signal from crossover to have 2 outputs for two amplifiers 2 drive the 2pairs of mid/high speaker. could somebody help me on how to do it? thanks! |
