Hand Make D/A Box Main PCB is design for Video streaming I just take 19V adpater connect to +/-12 V ,+5V,+3.3V switching supply power to D/A. Sub PCB is PCI Audio Card I just take SPDIF signal connect to receiver CS8416 then transfer to PCM feed WM8740 then decode Audio L/R . |

Take off Marantz 7 pre-amplifier pcb and put in my D/A PCB board. CS8416 SPDIF receiver + Wolfson WM8741 codec. Put in switching power for D/A output OP power supply. ap_F23_20100318052404652.jpg Reconnect RCA optput connector wire. Do source switching wir connect for pront panel knobes. Images-3.jpg Put in Mullar E88CC buffer circuit. E88CC is SPRR structure. Images-4.jpg Connect E88CC plate high voltage. E88CC use AS heater. Images-5.jpg Because when I finish D/A and I connect D/A behind Marantz 7 and 和田茂氏 pre-amp then the pre-amp will decay audio signal so I know pre-amp not Hi-Fi enough. So I take off all cuircuit Marantz 7 and 和田茂氏 pre-amplifier circuit and put in my solution. Mr211's Blog Mr211's Blog - Yahoo!????? Last edited by asterkao; 28th January 2011 at 11:53 PM. |

Toy10 Audio media center ... for my wife coffee shop
For More francy sound color and sound detail I DIY PCI media play card. images-1.jpg Diy PCI media play card with two type. Left type use VIA VT1720T PCI Media player control + codec WM8740 + OP and buffer (could 24bits/192K @kernel streaming ). Just depend PC performace. Right type just use VIA VT1720T Media player control and direct SPDIF output fiber signal. images-2.jpg VIA VT1720T PCI Media player control + codec WM8740 + OP buffer. This type is L/R analog output (each channel is balance output). So I use ERO Cap. do couple and combine signal OP circuit and OP buffer. These card need fireware code and special driver on windows XP system. Because I prefer kernel streaming direct play wav. format music and no XP mixer to distorsion and change sample rate. I setup working sample rate is 24bits/96K(kernel streaming mode). Mr211's Blog Mr211's Blog - Yahoo!????? |

Audio media center
images-3.jpg Use old PCB to hand make box for media center and this picture is front view of media center. Images-4.jpg 7'' LCD,CD-ROM,Optical Spdif out,Wifi build in. PCI Media player card inside. Images-5.jpg LCD dislay. Images-6.jpg Audio media center rear view. Hand make cooling fans and build-in switching power. This media center is special hank-make for my wife coffee shop usage. Because shop's cabinet is small also no play could put on display. So I hand-make a compack media center. Mr211's blog Mr211's Blog - Yahoo!????? |

Toy13 D/A final version ...with output transfomer
images-1.jpg D/A Tube buffer High voltage use R-L-C-L-C net to generate 230V for Tube 6922 plate-voltage. Rectifier is 6Z4 and put in delay-on function. images-2.jpg OP is AD827AQ (dual-package)+AD797AN. D/A output OP +15/-15V power supply by swicting power. images-3.jpg Spdif receiver is CS8416 and Codec is WM8741. images-4.jpg All circuit design usage SMT components. images-5.jpg The view of Audio signal switching and audio-input of tube. images-6.jpg D/A Top view picture. images-7.jpg Mullar E88CC use SRPP structurean and use AC heat. Add 6922 heater R & C components. images-8.jpg Add Tub output OPT for good sound. Mr211's blog http://tw.myblog.yahoo.com/jw!9frLFy6fAkV0gBy_oZT_geG5fC24WQ-- |
