Ii want to be able to turn off the backlights in these 2 boxes. I don't think there's a front panel supported way to do this, is there?
would also be nice to turn off all light activity, leds included. pretty sure this would be a hardware hack, yeah? any simple ways to do this? some common lines inside? I don't yet have schematics for those 2 boxes but I'm sure its not too hard to trace out the backlight wires and just switch them as needed. anyone do this to their own unit?
