Sharp/Slow rollof, De-emphase, PSU
I'm playing with a PCM1794 dac.
I have several issues I can't find a good awnser for. First one: - What's youre recommendation on the dac filter, Sharp or Slow? - I understand the principals of pre/de emphasis. But on an DAC, does it needs to be on? - The application circuit states two 10uF caps near the DAC chip on the analog 5v line. I have implemented a Shunt regulator and the shunt designer states that I have to remove any caps after the regulator. Can I remove the caps near the chip? |
