Hello, ive been looking at building a dac or modding my mf x dac v3, im not
into circuits but can solder very good i like the idea of this type kit because you can start with a pcb and put what you wont onto it keeping it simple seems to sound good according to this chap what do you think link (Greendac) |

If you just want to build something then go ahead, but I doubt it will be better than your X Dac. The NOS stuff is almost a cult obsession, and the 4x oversampling is what was used 20 yrs ago. It is easy to work on, but not even close to the performance level of modern dac circuits.
Just an opinion, everyone has one. |
