Default Please help DIR9001 and AD1866

I wish to make SPDIF DAC on dir9001 and AD1866.
But it is impossible to force to work for me Ad1866 with DIR9001.
From standards it is visible that AD1866 does not work
with I2S.

How to force to work DIR9001 and Ad1866 ?

Easy way is to connect AD1866 directly to Sony decoder chip. In this case there is no need for interface (only one inverter for LATCH). In any other case (I2S -> EIAJ), shifter is needed.

Thanks Josiphal very good information about the standard EIAJ

In this documentation it is written for PCM1704

"Now that we want to have left and right word in parallel, we always have to delay the left word by 24 or 32 BCK cycles, depending on the word frame length of the decoder.Next step is to bring the MSB into the correct relation to LE: When using a Philips decoder, we have to delay serial DATA by another 7 or 11 BCK cycles (24bit or 20bit DAC IC). LRCK can directly be used as LE."

If I have correctly understood for mine AD1866 which works only with long words of 16 bits it is necessary to shift the "DATA" on 15 "CLK" steps ?
