Hdmi to rca
So I have a receiver that I want to hook my new power amps up to but the receiver doesn't have any pre-outs It does have an hdmi out. Is there a processor or diy kit out there to convert my hdmi to rca for my amps?

It's highly unlikely to a converter product. The expensive license on HDMI chips/software/rights limits small companies interest.
You might find a sort of broken receiver and eliminate the broken or unneeded parts.

That Gefen GTV-HT-AUDPROC GefenTV Home Theater Audio Processor is definitely not a low budget unit!

Couldn't you just buy a cheap TV with HDMI in and SPDIF/5-RCA out? Even find one on ebay and cobble out the board. In my office I have a ROKU box with HDMI into my Dell monitor and 2-RCA out that sounds very clean (no SPDIF or 5.1).
