Hi, an old thread, but I just got one of these to resolve a lip sync problem I had when using a Blu ray player into an LED TV while wanting to route the audio through my vintage hifi. The video was slightly behind the audio emerging from the BD players RCA outputs.
the TV also has an optical digital output, so I tried one of these cheap DAC's to see if the audio via this route was in sync, and it was. Have not really tried used it yet with anything other than movie sound. very small, be interested to know what chipset it uses. there are other v. cheap DAC's on Amazon, some of which are similar size and claim to use the Wolfson DAC ? |

FYI you can open these by removing the black sticker on the base exposing two small philips screws. small neat board, chipset is hard to identify. On the underside is a larger square chip marked CLU01 and next to that is a smaller one marked CC33G 885JA
