Non powered mics > soundcard for FR testing?

I'd like to use RoomEQWizzard to check the responses on my speakers (and use my DCX for some correction) but I'd prefer not to have to go and buy something like a fasstrack to support a powered mic.Does anyone have any suggestions or I am simply not going to get accurate enough results without going this way? Maybe a USB condensor mic? Thanks!

I think since I will probably get a calibrated ECM8000 to go with autoeq on DCX2496 my best bet may just be to add M-Audio MobilePre.

it needs*little more information on your system. like your signal path. measuring frequenzy response is pretty expensive. I mean it will cost you total 1.50€ to make a mic that measure it.
