This is a 1:1 right? Is there an issue with the quality?
I am seeing various solutions to do SPDIF, several which suggest transformer replacement (to go from 75ohm to 110ohm.) What I get is why not just go 75ohm COAX > XLR and simply change the 110ohm resistor to 75ohm and not do anything with the xfrmr. Thanks! |

I would recommend to omit the transformer like here:
