Try a Dolby Lake or BSS filter...

I know its quadripple price over the DX2496 - however so is the sound quality...
Once u have heard a quality filter u won't settle for less

Default Xilica

Been using dbx driverack pa for years and not so happy with the sound quality. Xilica seems to be almost as good as XTA but for much less (from what I heard from a sound company, AIS Audio).

Any audiophiles using Xilica processors?

Herman

I believe Pano and others have had success just pumping the SPDIF straight into the existing digital input. Gotta' be worth a try.

That module look like it will do the trick.
If you have the DEQ in front of the DCX, you can come optical into the DEQ, then out AES/EBU into the DCX. That works very well, too.

...or even a SRC2496 will do the trick.

I have a problem with mine, it loosing the sound while switch on and of other equipment in my apartment. For example; Turning of the roof lights and the unit mutes for 2 sec.

I have replaced the 110 ohm r with a 83 Ohm while doing a direct spdif mod. But this would in my apinion only do good?

Any solutions?
