In my current DIY setup:
Sony Bluray player HD satellite receiver Seagate media player I am using the Firestone audio spitfire 24/96 dac, which only has 1 optical and 1 coax digital in and 1 set of rca outs.. it's not really design for multiple input.. what I had been doing was plugging and unplugging the coax whenever i need to use the dac.. ![]() that was such a pain .. then I was on monoprice and found this: ![]() since all three outputs sound via hdmi v1.3, i plug them all into the switch box, run ONE coax to the dac and VIOLA.. works like a charm whenever i switch hdmi inputs, the digital signal is split from the hdmi cable and output to my single dac.. -joe |
