I am working on a 2 channel in / 8 channel out design to work as an active digital crossover for a pair of stereo loudspeakers (up to 4 way designs). It'll be sort of "the last crossover I'll ever buy" type of thing, just reprogram it with new coefficients for whatever speakers I have it hooked up to.
I've picked out the CS42528 as the CODEC. I am looking for recommendations for the audio DSP. The AD1940/AD1941 are in the lead right now; are there others I should consider? Does anyone have any comments on the analog devices parts? Thanks for any help.
