Default DBX zonepro 1260 & MSB MVC advice

I would like a digital crossover/volume control for a new 3-way speaker project.

Has anyone had any experience with the following: DBX zonepro 1260 & the MSB MVC (multiple volume control)?

Is the DBX better than the Behringer DCX 2496?

The MSB MVC looks good value at US$399, are there alternatives about the same price.

Your advice would be appreciated.

I would suggest the DCX2496, because of its higher sampling rate and popularity.

I've got the MSB MVC. It's a great product regardless of price. I use it with my PC when using SoundEasy in digital filter mode. It emulates any crossover you can design.

I'm not aware of anything close to the MVC for the price and maybe few others at much higher cost.

Thanks Dave, I appreciate your recommendation of the MVCs. I see you are using a computer to do the crossover duties. This solution does not suit me so I am still looking for a box to do this. I like the concept of the DCX and DBX solutions but not convinced the DCX is the one because of the large amounts of mod's required to make it sound good. The DBX zonepro has the digital input and multiple analogue inputs but no one has commented on its sound so I will investigate a little more.
