great pics mate, looking good. and good timing, just popped in to mention that those using Zfoils have to keep dissipation in mind as they are not rated as high as the caddocks, but still within range for the 6w position at 10w (the 400R sinks 6W with 50v rails; datasheet says 8W, but my contact assures me 10W), but for this 10w they need good heatsinking like above, either with a separate flat sink, or the bottom of a suitable case.I am making an order with conrad heatsinks, so maybe I can help out here as well. the small board mounted heatsinks probably will not cut it, but as you can see the above setup takes up less room anyway
that is another thing I can help with perhaps, I am making a conrad heatsink order as they are made in sydney. Last edited by qusp; 6th November 2010 at 11:11 PM. |

Hi Owen
Sorry I haven't been following the thread for a while. Please let me know how much I owe for my parts. I'll take the PCB and SMD's plus anything else you still have to expedite the project. I'm located in Vancouver. Thanks! |

pidesd:
I just looked back over the lists, and from what I can see, you're on the SMD list, but not on the board list. Is this correct, or are you looking for both a board and SMD parts? I can't sell an SMD kit without a board since I only ordered one kit per board. If you want both an SMD kit and a board, then I do have one for you, so just let me know. Sorry for the confusion, I generated the list from the PCB buyers list and your name wasn't on there. tkwou: Your total will be $47.00 CAD for a board, an SMD kit, shipping and an envelope. Payment can be made to owen "dot" columbus "at" gmail "dot" com. qusp: Payment received! I'll update the list. Thanks, Owen |
