Hi after recently installing a PFM Flea - set up to provide a regulated +5v supply to the existing clock module - I decided to tidy up the wiring. I made a fatal error and connected the Fleas dedicated PSU in reverse polarity which killed the Flea and seems to have caused some damage to the clock XO and maybe even the buffer. I reverted back to stock form by installing a 7805 regulator but the 7805 gets crazy hot. I checked for shorts and all is ok. it must be the damaged XO or buffer causing the regulator to get hot.
Im trying to source a new XO module but I cnt seem to find one. Can anyone help me? Spec from the service manual states: "16.934MHz XTAL Oscillator module, 4 pin 1 X1 1600-169343-602 Half size 50ppm" http://img215.imageshack.us/img215/8812/picture1850.jpg

So far I have tried Rapid, CPC, Fanell, and RS. None of them have it. FFS!
Ive contacted Cambridge but no reply yet. Might have to buy the Tent module.. Found a few suppliers offering massive quantities (bulk orders) but none where I can buy a single unit. Annoyingly the tent "XO" module dosent appear on their online shop! Getting pissed off now.
