reasonably quick question for you guys....
just having a look around the mine field of DAC kits out there for a product which fits a few criteria: budget: about £100 delivered less is better 2 toslink inputs one for sky other for PS3 balanced output (so i can feed it into my naim nait 5i)?? stu |

If you're handy with mods try one of the Chinese upsampling DACs off of Ebay and add the output transformer mod. Far and away the best bang for the buck, but you'll have to convert the coax input to toslink to have two, not a big deal.
It's all in the thread "Experience with this DIY DAC" If you're looking for a full "kit" for 100 pounds, forget it. Best, Bill |
