Is there any way to get clock lock working bewteen a Cambridge Audio DiscMagic 1 and DacMagic 2Mk2. The DiscMagic manual makes a great claim that switching on the clock output of your DAC will result in a breathtaking enhancement in sound quality. Yet the DacMagic as far as I can see does not provide this output. If this involves modfying the DacMagic then I need to ensure that it stays compatible with other transports because occasionally I feed the optical output of a Sony CD/SACD player into it for disks the DiscMagic 1 refuses to acknowledge and play. Or should I be looking at another DAC altogether?
