buffalo and pass d1 i/v

anybody build this combo?

is it a good much?

any other suggestions for discrete i/v stage for buffalo?

Friend of mine did it, and it works at least

In next few weeks I'll try this combo in my system to compare with tubed buffalo done by another friend.
