the clock of CEC 891R 16.9344MHz ?
today I add the kwak-clock2 to my old CDP CEC 891R
and the player could not work (it open and close run forward and backward automatically ) so I change the crystal back, unfortunately i broken the leg then I replaced it with another crystal (blue one 16.9MT from NEC CDROM) its works but noisy the crystal showed 18BH I think it may be 16.9344MHz I need a new one maybe TCXO but the most important is the frequency do anyone know or have the manu serve thanks Sam |

i found why its noisy
the bypass cap the original are 30pf and the new one are 40pf |
