My short list of sound cards for computer audio incorporating digital crossovers and speaker/room correction:
New AudioTrak Prodigy 7.1 hifi $112 shipped http://www.audiotrak.net/products/prodigy71hifi/ New Ausu Xonar D2 $155 shipped http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/Produc...tCode=10007018 Used M-Audio Firewire 410 about $160 shipped Anyone have experience with these or knowledge? I need to buy the Audiotrak soon if it is the one. Thanks for your help Ted |

m-Audio Delta 410 4-in 10-out? Should be around the 150 mark. Slightly better performance due to pro pedigree, and balanced input and mic pre.
The FW version in your post would be a great choice too, the 'used' tag doesn't take away the quality of the product. The Xonar is good too, just wouldn't trust it for measurement work. |
