Attached is picture of TXCO16.9344 2ppm, with 4 soldering pins:
pin1:Vcc—voltage supply pin3:Out—frequency out pin4:GND pin6:VC The VC means Voltage compensation or Voltage control !? How am I going to connect pin6 in a reclock schematic? |

Usually only Vcc, GND and CLK out will be use, the remaining pin will be NC )not connected.

Vc is frequency control. What you have there is a "VCTCXO", a frequency compensated VCXO.
I'd connect a 10K pot (a little Bourns 3339 or something) with the ends connected to Vcc and ground, the wiper connected to Vc, and Vc in turn connected to ground with a 0.01-0.1uF cap. |

Adjustment not required, the pulling usually is very small, you won't hear any difference, but if you want, tune for nominal frequency. But better get rid of TCXO's as absolute accuracy is a non-requirement for audio. best |
