Please excuse my ignorance but im a vinyl man usually.

I built this pre-amp (diy paradise) but im not getting on with it.

I noticed on the pages it says it can be used as an output stage for a cd player.

As i already have this thing built i thought i'd give it a go.

CD player is a PS1

Is it as simple as taking the pot out the pre-amp then just taking the dac output and running them into this as if it were any other source?

If so, dac outputs are aoutr (15), aourl (16) what about the left and right channel ground?

Oh, i found the PS1 thread but:bigeyes:

Theres ALOT of info in there!

Searched for output stages but this is all a bit new to me.

I know where to take L and R output from, i can take ground from various places, but whats all the talk about DC blocking caps and resitors?

As i say, this is all a little bit over my head.

Just need to know what to do to feed the PS1 output into the pre circuit above :)

Thanks folks.

Well, in case anyones interested, i went ahead and did this.

I used 2.2uf caps and 22k resistors to bypass the PS1 output.

It sounds absolutely fantastic.

I had no idea CD could do this.

Its in a completely different league to my techincs slp1200 or marantz cd67se!!
