Hi All
Did a search first which didn't turn up much. Has anyone ever tried coverting an internal sound card to an external DAC? Some of the cards being released these days (the ASUS Xonar Essence for example) have quite advanced DAC designs with hard to source parts. If one were to box it externally give it its own power supply attach a SPDIF/USB receiver it could make a pretty good DIY project (although I wouldn't have a clue where to start). Any ideas on this one. Thanks |
