Question on VC24 chipset with Sabre
i have attached a schemtic of the Sony Audio board DAC section which is a VC24+. The connector shown comes from the logic board to the Audio board.
Question i have now is, wether it is possible to get the DSD and PCM stream before the VC24 DAC chip. My assumption is that DSD is at : 51 Sbck (Bit clock) 52 Sdatar (Left channel data) 53 Sdatal (Right channel data) PCM at : 48 Data (PCM data) 49 BCK (Bit clock) 50 LRCK (Left right clock) does this make any sense ? I might want to try the Sabre connected to Player ... thx |
