Default about TDA1545 and 1543

i'm so curious, why just a few player i know use both that chip.
maybe some member here know the reason.

These products are obsolete and not RoHS compliant. This is enough reason for a manufacturer to not use them.

Further to this, these chips measure bad and no consumer marketing department would accept that these days....

For DIY these two arguments are of little value
