WTB Adire Audio Extremis 6.4
May have popped one when I only had 1 amp and it was clipping.

Have you considered swapping both for a CSS SDX7? Might be a better alternative with the Extremis being hard to find 2nd hand these days.

Thanks guys. The Extremis was fine, I had to reinforce the enclosure even more beacuse these guys move so much air. So full of impact! I have four Extremis sealed run off two Kicker KX2500.1's. 1 Amp per pair, 2 channels bridged 4 ohm for 425 RMS per..and they want MORE!

Good god are they nice. Wife surprised me and got them for me for Christmas.
Stephen, I will be needing a 3rd one for the center channel...so be looking for an order for one at the beginning of the year. Now I'm wondering if I should do some of the new Alpair 6s upfront too...but don't know if they can take the abuse the Whispers can take. Been beating them up pretty hard last couple of days. |
