A urge to post this Po' boy dial indicator set up, and now wish I did these years ago.
I just moved the saw to a new location and the top needed to be set, aligned and bolted down.
The standard is 3 thousands of an inch tolerance.

The part list:
* Harbor Freight dial indicator ($14 with coupon)
* Small block of 5/8" material
* Rip of wood that fits tight in the grove.

You'll need to to hacksaw the tab off the back of the HF indicator, remove back before doing this. The metal is very soft, easy to cut.

FYI there are other set-ups on you-tube for micro setting the fence.

I ordered new DELTA bearings, still not delivered.
Not sure I need them, but the saw has a bit of screech compared to other DELTAs I've heard. The motor has plenty of pep tho!!

This is really fun,,,crazy find on Craig's list!
Found it local, called, and dragged it home two days later!

Fabricating 55" tall speakers.

phase, the Digital readout would be nice. Using pencil marks and blue tape now.

Finally used the PM 511 for a speaker box project (floor-stander). It worked perfectly; straightest/squarest/uniform/dust-free cuts ever!

Shooting dust outside with a high power leaf blower :D
